John A.'s Story
Life;
Born in San Francisco, one of four borne to parents that migrated to California in the late 50's.
I first played a musical instrument, a marimba, while terrorizing my 4th grade teacher.
The first of many instruments I would eventually learn, only the Violin and Baritone would be learned formally, the rest, by ear.
I sang in the 6th grade and 12th grade choir. I also sang to Dio, Journey and others, never thought that much about it, I assumed it was easy, and I had more important things to do.
I eventually ended up playing lead guitar, its still my main instrument.
Any other instrument, only if I have to.
I joined the local church at 18.
I also learned to program computers before graduating high school.
I managed to get halfway through college before dropping out, within a year, I enlisted as an Imagery Analyst and served from '86 to '92 when I first became disabled, one of many disabilities to come.
I served in Ft Riley, Yongson, Camp Humphreys, Osan, and Ft Huachuca.

so managed to see places like Alaska, Belgium, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Canada, Korea and Hawaii.
I would later return to the states in 1995 and work with MBCI until early 2000. I then relocated to PR with my family.
I bought my first computer, and IBM 360 a few months before Y2K, and tore up a good number of old computers that were dirt cheap.
I already knew programming, repairing them wouldn't be that hard to figure out.
I studied computer repair, taught both English and Music until bad health finally forced me to quit.
I am now medically retired since 2006, and once in a while, health permitting, either troubleshoot or repair computers.
I relocated to Virginia in 2009 and have been divorced since 2010.
Been a while, I am once again married, this time to an american girl. God is good.
As of late I have been seeking to atone for mistakes of the past, the relationships I have damaged, the people I have wronged. I believe in redemption and I hope to get there before my time here is done.
